Ahhhh, spring!
Time is going by so fast now that we’re back home in British Columbia, so before spring is over I want to share with you a few photos of wildflowers I made back in April in Pinnacles National Park in California.

What’s in your camera bag? Equipment you use? Favorites and why? What will you not leave home without? Is this information in a past newsletter?
Hi Mark, I don’t actually have that much equipment because I cannot carry very much with my bad back. My camera is a Canon 7D, I have a 10-20mm, 24-105, and 70-300, plus 500D close up filter. I don’t leave home without my tripod most of the time 🙂 Thanks for your visit and comments.
Lovely!
Thanks Michelle!
Beautiful photos. Nicely done.
Thank you very much Kris!
I really enjoy your web site and Blog Anne.
Cheers Judy
Thank you very much Judy, I appreciate that.
Mike, the Paintbrush leaves are different. See: http://www.terragalleria.com/parks/np-image.pinn55852.html
Nice! I don’t know my California wildflowers, so I’d be willing to bet QT is right, but it looks like Indian Paintbrush, a flower we have here in Jackson Hole. Since it’s a different environment, I bet QT is right and it’s probably just a variant of ours.
Hi Mike, thanks for your visit and comments. Looking at the photos I believe QT is right about it being Indian Warrior. Thanks for helping though!
These are lovely Anne! I particularly like the subtle toning in the first two.
Many thanks Russ, your comments are always appreciated!
Those are beautiful shots with nice use of shallow DOF. I believe the last flowers are Indian Warriors.
Thank you very much QT! Yes, now that I see the photos that is definitely the flower it was. Thanks for identifying it for me, much appreciated.
Anne, your photos are, as always, so very awesome! Thank you for sharing.
Thank you very much for your kind comment Shari 🙂
