I received “Best Spring/Summer picture for Seattle or Victoria” in the Clipper Vacations Photo Contest for this photo taken from Elliott Bay in Seattle.
Getting up at 5am paid off when I captured this silhouette of the fishermen fishing off the pier just as the sun rose above the city skyline. I won roundtrip tickets on the Clipper, which is the high-speed passenger ferry that travels between Victoria BC and Seattle Washington.
