Jordan Creek, Acadia National Park

I was hoping to capture some of the changing colours of fall leaves while in Acadia National Park in Maine. However I was a bit too early for the colours and the wind kept me from photographing much foliage at all.

So I leave you today with two more images from Jordan Creek.

Next week I will have some fall colours from New Hampshire and Virginia to share with you as I make my way to Shenandoah National Park and down the Appalachian trail. I hope you have a great weekend.

Thank you to all of you who helped me make some difficult image selections this week. Why am I making image selections in the first place? Well … it’s a project I am working on that will be ready in the next month or so. I can’t wait to share it with you!

Please share!

    1. Thanks Curt. Unfortunately the next week didn’t go so well for me and the fall colours. Rain and wind together make for difficult conditions. I wish I had a better report!

    1. Hi Alan, It was around October 10th when I was there (my blog posts are always about 2 weeks behind my current location). At the time I was a bit early for the fall colours. I’m sure it is long gone by now. Thanks for the comment!
