On my first day in Reykjavik, Iceland, I discovered the most amazing church called Hallgrimskirkja. (I still can’t get over the complicated names!)
I was supposed to be resting up and getting used to the time change before my photo tour, but I just couldn’t help myself. I had to get up early and get to this place before sunrise to capture it during twilight light.
I was so happy that I managed to get this shot because very shortly after they turned the lights off and it just wasn’t the same.
The Blue Hour and The Golden Hour are my favorite times. This is a great shot. I love the lines of the walkway leading up to the structure that then shoots the lines straight up.

Reminds me of a night shot of the white house I was making years ago. Just as I was framing the shot, they killed the floodlights. My wife thought it was pretty funny, Me, not so much. Is the A6000 your travel lite kit or have you switched over to mirrorless completely?
Hi Carlton, I’ve switched over to mirrorless for landscape photos. For wildlife, I still use my Canon 7D because I have the big 400mm lens to use with it. I love the mirrorless system!! Thanks for your visit and comments.
