Top 10 Landscape Photos of 2015

Happy New Year everyone! It’s that time of year when I like to take a look back at my photography from the previous year and pick out my top 10 lists. I do one for landscapes and one for wildlife – otherwise it would be way too hard!

I had a great year last year with some outstanding sunsets in the American Southwest during my snowbird trip early in the year, some excellent boating during the summer (results will be in the wildlife photos), followed by my amazing trip to Iceland in the fall. I made some good friends and lots of memories along the way too.

I am always so far behind in my processing that often my top 10 list contenders are only the photos I have processed so far. I actually have tons from 2015 that I haven’t started yet and others I haven’t published yet, including some of my favourites from my trip to Iceland.

So these are my favourite 10 landscape photos of 2015 in the order I made them.

I didn’t know that the setting sun was going to light up the rock in the background like that! Aren’t surprises wonderful? I made this image at Canyon de Chelly National Monument, Arizona.

5. Trona Pinnacles

Trona Pinnacles, California.
This is my favourite new boondocking spot from 2015. There were a few visitors during the day, but only a couple of other campers. Great spot for some serious time in the wild.

  1. Looking at your images Anne – They are so beautiful and stunning.

I love taking photos, my passion is travel, and along with that my love of photography/taken photos, falls right along side that, So I Love Travel Photography, Just To Show What The World Has To Offer.

    Love looking at your images.

  2. Anne, your photographs are absolutely stunning. Love them. I see you ran into my friend Patricia Davidson and her husband. Wonderful!

  3. It’s impossible for me to pick a favorite. They’re all beautiful and interesting in their own unique way.

I follow you but rarely comment Anne. I find your photography stunning, but I’m also interested in your lifestyle. We are currently rv’ing for the first time long term, and your stories and travels are of great interest to me as well as inspiring. I always look forward to your posts, and you never disappoint.
