A Flock of Flamingos

This is a photo from a couple of years ago that I just never got around to publishing. I made this image of a flock of flamingos at the San Diego Zoo in California.

Flamingos by Anne McKinnell
Canon 7D, 300mm, ISO 400, f/8, 1/1,000 second

I like the pattern that the flamingos created as they slept so tightly packed together. Only a couple in the middle are awake. The sun was quite high in the sky creating a shadow under each one.

Please share!

    Anne,

This is James Mitchell, again!!! I have been the Sedgwick County Zoo in my hometown of Wichita, Kansas, U.S.A. of seeing The Caribbean & Greater Flamingos before taking some Blessed Photos (First was in Black and White Film and now plus still in Color Digital Photography.) Finally, I am still and very Blessed with Flamingos, for now because I am also still a Flamingo Fanatic, indeed!!! Stay Blessed, Again!!!
