Two final images from King’s Landing Historical Settlement, New Brunswick. While I did tour the restored homes, I found the most interesting parts to be the things I found around back or hidden in a corner.
First a 19th century buggy.
And finally, some barrels from the back room which no-doubt contained some kind of moonshine many moons ago.

Thanks Pablo. I was pretty excited about finding the barrels and kicked myself a little for leaving the tripod at home, but it gave me an opportunity to practice the hand-held HDR, which I am learning to love.

Really? And here I thought my niche was going to be seascapes! I have to admit I had a really good day at King’s Landing and came home with some good shots, so maybe it is my niche? I’m still trying to figure out what my niche is! Thanks for your comments Russ.

Thanks Len, I think the HDR technique makes a big difference in showing detail in the otherwise shady areas of a scene.
Wonderful details in both of these shots. It looks as if the buggy is still in use (judging by the rubber on the wheels)?
Hi Chris, thanks for your comment. It wouldn’t surprise me if the buggy is still in use since the whole place was running just at it would have been in 1800s.
