Goodbye Victoria

It wasn’t as hard to leave as I thought it would be. The place I have lived for 27 years, where I went to university and owned my first home. Victoria, BC, is a great place to live. What it lacks in lakes it makes up for in ocean, surrounded on 3 sides – a picturesque small city that pretends to be a slice of England. But the time has come. In the words of George Bailey, “I’m shakin’ the dust of this crummy little town off my feet and I’m gonna see the world” or at least North America for the time being.

  1. Bon voyage, Anne! Those are some gorgeous pics of Victoria you’re leaving us with as you begin your journey. Really looking forward to your tales (and images!) along the way.

  2. Most excellent post and news today Anne! It’s bittersweet to think that you won’t be here in town anymore, you’ve always just been one Tweet away from us, but we are absolutely thrilled to be following along on your adventures there. Best wishes, to say the very least!! We will be sitting here, just waiting for your posts from the road my friend! On that note, we raise a glass to your quest!
